POST-OP LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

 After invasive surgical procedures, the body’s systems become compromised. Post op massages are performed to promote healing by increasing blood circulation and stimulating the lymphatic system. The fluid that is building up needs to be gently redistributed to the lymph nodes in order to be expelled from the body as waste.

This process will aid in reducing inflammation and reduces the risk for development of seromas.
